Grilled Peach Pizza

The star of the summer campground! Grilled pizza is deceptively simple to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of pre-made pizza dough

  • 2 ripe peaches

  • handful of fresh basil

  • 8 oz. fresh mozzarella

  • balsamic glaze

Instructions:

Slice peaches and arrange on a heated grill. Cook for 30-60 seconds (or until you see a good char), then flip and grill the other side. Transfer to a plate with tongs and set aside.

Divide the pizza dough into portions slightly bigger than your fist. Stretch and pat down the dough. Tossing it around also makes it taste better, we promise, so go for it! Once your dough is stretched out as thin as you can get it without ripping, place on the hot grill.

Grill the pizza over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes, or until the dough has puffed up and there are char marks underneath. Flip it over and grill the other side. While the second side is grilling, top with thinly sliced mozzarella. You can cover with a lid or foil if you’d like to really get it melty.

Once cooked through, remove from heat and top with grilled peaches, basil, and a generous drizzle of balsamic glaze.
